MENASHA, Wis. – Green Scene & Heard and Heckrodt Wetland Reserve will host a free seminar on greening your life on Thursday, June 25, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Heckrodt Nature Center, 1305 Plank Road, Menasha.
The program will feature an overview of how anyone can bring a level of sustainable activity into their daily lives. Presenting the session is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional, Amanda Saylor, Interior Designer at Hoffman LLC of Appleton. Learn what “sustainability” means as well as basic concepts in living “green”.
Other area "green" experts and businesses will be available from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to answer questions and showcase "green" products. Vendors include Just Act Natural, Kindred Spirit Organics, The Mom & Pop Place, and Globally Sound.
The program will also include a drawing for "green" door prizes and the
Save the Earth challenge.
