Pride Alive Five Run/Walk--July 11th--Green Bay

Here’s a great way to help the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters Institute and get some exercise at the same time!

The 1st annual Pride Alive Five Run/Walk will be taking place on Saturday, July 11th as part of this year’s expanded Pride Alive Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender celebration. Participants are able to direct a portion of their registration fee to one, two or three worthy causes, including WLCVI. So the more runners and walkers we can get out, the more funds will be raised to protect natural resources.

The 5k Run/2-Mile Walk begins at 9:30 Saturday morning, beginning and ending at Joannes Park, 1430 Baird Street, Green Bay, WI.

Registration is $20, or participants can still get the early registration amount of $16 by using the form located in the June 11th issue of Quest Magazine. (www.quest-online.com)

Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each male and female division. All participants will receive a goodie bag filled with prizes, including a Pride Alive Five t-shirt, while supplies last.
